Going to Melbourne Beach? Want an easy, inexpensive, but good meal? In the mood for lobster? Head over to the New England Eatery and Pub. I make a point of visiting this spot every time we're in Melbourne Beach. I have had the lobster roll, which is good. However, if you're really craving something special, then you might as well order the main lobster for $18.99 that comes with a soup or salad and a side. It is steamed to perfection and served with some butter. You have to do the cracking yourself, but it's sooooo worth it. And again... $18.99! Seriously, can this get any better? I think not.

Clam Chowder... Thick creamy cup (it is fairly large cup)  Lobster Roll... Best mayo lobster roll OUTSIDE of Maine. My other favorite lobster roll is from the Clam Shack at Kennebunkport, ME. Both places serve the whole chunk lobster (about 12-16oz) on a open sandwich roll... yummm  French Onion Soup... Very cheesy, clear broth, oniony (it is a fairly large cup)  Hamburger... Ordered it medium rare, and it came MEDIUM RARE ... woohoo!!  Onion Rings... fantastically battered onion rings, definitely a must order, 1/2 order for 2 to share... just make sure you aren't sitting next to a table of older folks discussing about their bypass stints and bypass surgery :-(

Best: Coming from an Island where all the fish is always fresh, I can tell you, this is THE BEST Restaurant and the fish always fresh and delicious. Great taste and Very friendly people. I always take my family to eat there.
